How do payouts work?
Last updated September 28, 2026
Repaint pays out your sales to your bank account every week once your account is approved. Money from your sales builds up in your Repaint balance, minus processing fees. That balance is sent to the bank account you added when you set up payments.
When you get paid
Repaint reviews your account using the business details you provide during verification. Payouts start once your account is approved.
Delays and reserves
Repaint keeps reviewing accounts after approval. Unusual activity, like a high refund rate or a sudden spike in sales, can lead Repaint to delay payouts or hold part of your balance as a reserve. This is how Repaint manages the risk of refunds and disputes it may have to cover. If this happens and you’re not sure why, contact support.
Checking your payouts
You can ask the AI about your payouts anytime, like your current balance or how much you made last month. If you’d like to see this regularly, the AI can build a dashboard for it.
Example prompts
“Show me my payouts from the last two months and what each one included.”
“Build a dashboard showing my sales, fees, refunds, and payouts by week.”
Your bank account and balance
Changing your bank account
The workspace owner can change the payout bank account in your workspace settings.
Negative balances
Refunds and disputes come out of your Repaint balance. If they leave your balance negative, your future sales cover it before anything is paid out. If a negative balance stays large, Repaint may charge your payout bank account or the payment method on file to recover it.
