How do online bookings work in Repaint?

Last updated September 28, 2026

Repaint builds online booking directly into your website. You describe your services and how you want bookings to work. Then the AI builds the booking pages, the scheduling, and the emails your customers get. Bookings are saved in your workspace, and you can manage them by chatting with the AI.

It works for appointments, classes, consultations, rentals, and anything else people book a time for.

Services, hours, and staff

You tell the AI what people can book, how long each service takes, and what it costs. You can have a single service or a full menu with different lengths and prices.

Availability

You can describe your hours the way you’d explain them to someone, like weekdays 9 to 5 with an hour off for lunch. You can also add buffer time between appointments, block off holidays, or limit how far ahead people can book.

Staff

If more than one person takes bookings, the AI can give each person their own services and hours. Customers can pick who they want or book whoever’s free.

The booking flow

Customers pick a service and time, enter their details, and pay if needed. It all happens on your site, and the booking page is designed to match. You can also ask the AI to add intake questions or let customers sign in to manage their bookings.

Payments and deposits

You can charge the full price when someone books, take a deposit, or take no payment at all and let people pay in person. Taking payments online needs a custom domain and a verified business.

Confirmation and reminder emails

The AI can send customers a confirmation when they book and reminders before their appointment, written the way you want. Emails to customers are sent from your own domain, so you’ll need a custom domain connected with email sending set up. Notifications to you and your team work without a domain.

Cancellations and rescheduling

You describe your policy and the AI builds it in. For example, customers can reschedule up to 24 hours before, but cancellations within 48 hours lose the deposit. If you take payments, it can also handle refunds based on your rules.

Managing your bookings

You can ask the AI what’s on the schedule, move or cancel an appointment, or block off time. For a view you check every day, the AI can build a dashboard with your upcoming bookings. Dashboards are visible to everyone in your workspace, not your customers.

Example prompts

“Add online booking for my massage studio. We offer 60 and 90 minute massages at $95 and $130, Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Take a $30 deposit when people book.”

“Add Jess and Tom as therapists. Jess works Tuesday to Thursday, Tom works Friday and Saturday. Let customers choose who they book with.”

“Customers can reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before. After that, they lose their deposit.”

“What bookings do I have tomorrow?”

Calendar sync

If you also use Google Calendar or another calendar, you can ask the AI what’s possible for your setup. It can often find a way to connect the two, like emailing you a calendar invite for each new booking.
