What are the payment processing fees?

Last updated September 29, 2026

Repaint charges a processing fee on each successful payment. Your rates depend on the country your business is based in and how your customer pays. Rates can change at Repaint’s discretion, and we’ll update this page when they do.

Failed payments, refunds, and disputes

  • Failed payments. There’s no fee.
  • Refunds. When you refund a payment, the full amount comes out of your balance and goes back to your customer. The processing fee you paid on the original payment isn’t returned.
  • Disputes. If a customer disputes a charge with their bank, the disputed amount and a dispute fee are taken from your balance.

When you set up payments, you choose the currency you charge customers in and get paid out in. If a customer pays with a card in a different currency, the payment is converted, which adds the currency conversion fee shown above.
