Can I export my code or data?

You can export your data from Repaint anytime by asking the AI. That includes your orders, customers, form submissions, and anything else your sites store. Repaint doesn't offer code export.
Why Repaint doesn't export code
What Repaint builds isn't a standalone codebase you can take elsewhere. Your site and its features run on Repaint's own platform. That's what lets payments, customer accounts, email, and your data all work together without any setup. In that way, Repaint works more like Shopify or Squarespace than a coding tool.
We made this choice on purpose, even though it makes the code less portable. There are plenty of great AI coding tools for developers. We want Repaint to be the best one for people who don't code. If you want code you can download and host yourself, a developer-focused AI coding tool is a better fit.
Exporting your data
Everything your sites store lives in your workspace. To get a copy, ask the AI to create an export, such as a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet.

Your domain stays yours
Custom domains are registered with your own domain provider, not with Repaint. You can point your domain wherever you want at any time.
