What can't I build on Repaint?

You can build almost any legitimate business website on Repaint, but some kinds of content and businesses aren't allowed. These rules apply to every site on Repaint. Sites that accept payments have a few extra restrictions. These rules are part of our Terms of Service.

What's not allowed

Illegal and restricted products

• Illegal products or services
• Drugs, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana or cannabis products
• Weapons, explosives, and hazardous materials
• Counterfeit goods, and anything that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property

Adult content and gambling

• Adult content and sexual services, including AI-generated adult content
• Gambling, including casinos, betting, lotteries, and games of skill with prizes

Harmful content

• Hate speech, or content that promotes violence
• Harassment, or content that targets individuals

Deception, fraud, and spam

• Sites that impersonate a brand, person, or government agency
• Phishing, or anything designed to collect passwords or payment details under false pretenses
• Cloaking, or content meant to deceive search engines
• Fake reviews or testimonials
• Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM), and get-rich-quick schemes
• Spam, including sending email to people who haven't agreed to hear from you

Payments

Payments on Repaint follow the rules of our payment processing partners, which are stricter than the rules for websites. Some businesses can't accept payments through Repaint or need extra review, including:

• Cryptocurrency
• Many financial services, like lending, debt relief, and money transfer
• Pharmaceuticals and telemedicine
• Tobacco and vaping products
• CBD products
• Some travel businesses, like airlines and timeshares
• Crowdfunding
• Dating services

In some of these cases, you can still have a website on Repaint without taking payments through it.

Enforcement

If a site or workspace breaks this policy, we may remove content, pause payments or email sending, or suspend the account.
