How to invite people to your workspace

You can invite people from the members section of your workspace settings by entering their email. Anyone in the workspace can invite people, but only the owner can remove them.

Inviting people

They get an email with a link to join. If they don't have a Repaint account yet, one is created for them when they accept. If they already have one, your workspace is added alongside any others they're in.

What members can see

Repaint doesn't have fine-grained permissions. Anyone in your workspace can see and edit everything in it, including customer information and payments. That makes workspaces a good fit for employees and co-owners, but not for people who should only see part of your business.

How many people you can add

The number of seats depends on your plan, and the owner counts as one of them:

• Plus: 1 seat
• Pro: 5 seats
• Max: unlimited seats

Everyone in the workspace shares the same weekly AI allowance.

Roles and ownership

Each person in your workspace has one of two roles:

• Owner. Handles billing, deleting the workspace, and other high-security admin tasks.
• Editor. Can see and edit everything in the workspace, including sites, data, dashboards, and payment information.

Removing people

The owner can remove members in your workspace settings. Once removed, they immediately lose access to the workspace. Their Repaint account still exists. It just isn't part of this workspace anymore.

Transferring ownership

You can only transfer ownership to someone who's already in the workspace, so invite them first if they aren't a member yet.

To transfer ownership, you change that person's role to owner in your workspace settings.

This makes them the owner and makes you an editor. They take over billing and the workspace overall. This is how agencies and freelancers usually hand a finished project to a client.
