What happens when my trial ends or I cancel?

When your trial ends or you cancel, your workspace pauses. Your websites go offline, and you can't take payments or chat with the AI until you reactivate. Nothing is deleted, and choosing a plan turns everything back on.

When your workspace pauses

If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, so everything keeps working until then. The workspace pauses after that. If you're on the free trial, the workspace pauses when the 14 days are up unless you choose a plan.

What stops

• Your websites go offline, on both your Repaint address and any custom domains.
• Payments stop, so customers can't buy, book, or subscribe through your sites.
• Emails stop, including receipts and newsletters.
• You can't chat with the AI, so you can't make changes until you reactivate.

If you run paid subscriptions or memberships through your site, it's worth thinking about how pausing affects your customers before you cancel.

What stays saved

Your work isn't deleted. Your websites, dashboards, chats, and data all stay saved in your workspace.

Reactivating

You can reactivate anytime by choosing a plan and paying. Everything comes back the way you left it.

Failed payments

If a payment for your Repaint subscription fails, your workspace enters a grace period. Your websites stay online and everything on them keeps running, but you can't chat with the AI until you update your payment details in your workspace's billing settings. During the grace period, Repaint retries the payment. If the final retry fails, it's treated as a cancellation and the workspace pauses.

This is about paying for your own Repaint plan. It's separate from hitting your weekly AI usage limit, which never takes your sites offline.
